This Privacy Policy describes how MyHomeStudio ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website MyHomeStudio.club, our services, and our SMS messaging program (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Contact Information: Name, email address, mobile phone number.
Account Information: Username, password, account preferences.
Consent Records: Date, time, IP address, and source of your SMS opt-in.
Usage Information: Basic technical information your browser sends with every request — device and browser type, and the pages requested — recorded in our hosting provider’s server logs. On our public website at www.myhomestudio.club we also use Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read; Google Analytics sets cookies for this. Neither runs on the application itself, so what you do inside a studio’s admin area or a member portal is not measured this way. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking, and Google’s advertising and cross-device features are switched off.
Communications: Records of messages sent to and received from you, including SMS content and delivery status.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve our Services.
Send you SMS messages you have consented to receive, including transactional notifications, account alerts, and marketing messages.
Verify your identity and authenticate access to your account.
Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
If you ask us to tell you when MyHomeStudio is available for you, send you that one message.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. SMS Messaging — Consent and Use of Mobile Information

When you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive SMS messages from us, you consent to receive recurring messages at the number you provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.

No Mobile Information Sharing: We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as hosting, database, backup and message-delivery providers, is permitted. All categories of personal information exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers: With vendors who perform services on our behalf: Vercel (application hosting, and analytics on our public website), Neon (database), Cloudflare R2 (file storage and backups), GitHub (scheduled jobs, including our nightly backup), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), ClickSend (SMS delivery) and Google (analytics on our public website only). These providers are contractually bound to use information only as necessary to provide their services.
Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same privacy protections.

As stated above, mobile information and SMS consent data are excluded from any sharing arrangements.

5. Your Choices

Opt out of SMS: Reply STOP to any message, or contact us at ron@myhomestudio.club.
Access and correction: You may request access to or correction of your personal information by contacting us.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. SMS consent records are retained for at least four years following opt-out, as required by carrier and regulatory standards.

We keep nightly backups for 30 days. Information deleted from the Services, including signed forms and uploaded documents, remains in those backups until they expire, and is then permanently erased. Error records, with email addresses and phone numbers masked, are kept for 30 to 90 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children, and accounts we issue directly are for adults. Studios do sometimes serve members who are minors; where they do, the studio is responsible for obtaining any parental or guardian consent required, and we handle that member’s information on the studio’s instructions. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us at ron@myhomestudio.club and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Effective Date" above. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by other reasonable means.
