MyHomeStudio is built and supported by Ron Dvir. Not a team, not a venture-backed roadmap — one developer working directly with the studios using it, and the person you will be talking to.
Why it exists
The software in this category is built for studios with a reception desk, an opening-hours sign and someone whose job is the schedule. Sold to a person teaching six people in their front room, it is expensive, and most of it is for a business they do not run.
The interesting problems are the ones a storefront vendor never has to solve. The studio address is a home address. The room is a studio at ten and a living room at four. Capacity is however many reformers fit, not a number you type into twelve class types. That is the product this is trying to be.
The trade is honest: you get someone who answers directly and can ship a fix the same week, and you take the risk that comes with one person rather than a company of eighty. The rest of this page is the detail you need to judge that.
One thing worth saying plainly about money: members pay by card through Stripe and the funds settle into your own Stripe account. We hold none of it and take no percentage of what your members pay you.
Getting your data out
Two things exist today, and it is worth being precise about which is which.
There is a CSV export on the reports screen, which you can use whenever you like without asking anyone.
For everything else — the full contents of your studio, including the signed intake PDFs — ask, and you get it. That is a promise from a person, not a button in the interface, and you should read it as exactly that. If it ever becomes a button, this paragraph will say so.
